Yey! We had a snow day today! Jonathan didn't have to work because it was his day off. Normally, he goes in at least a little on his day off. However, since the weather was bad, he didn't figure anyone was going to be buying a car anyway, so he was home all day.
Our snow was more sleet than snow, so it wasn't good for building snowmen or snowballs. (Tonight we're supposed to get some more snow, so the morning should be good for that!) However, it was nice and white, which is (in my opinion), part of the appeal of winter weather. You Northies may not consider it snow, but it was a good inch/inch and a half, so we count it. The ground was covered, and it was necessary for the city to shake the dust off the snow plows.
Yesterday was really icy and pretty dangerous, but because of all the sleet, today was nicer. We drove to IHOP for breakfast and enjoyed getting out in it a little. After Conlan's nap, we went to a nearby park and took pictures. Here are some (and of the rest of the day too)!!

So it was a good day all in all. Now we're eating pizza and watching a movie.
Oh. Connie had mentioned that we're in a "state of emergency"...I didn't really know anything about that. If you're wondering, we're fine here. No power outages or anything. Okies sure do know how to drive on ice and snow, and we haven't gone anywhere faster than 20 mph. We did have a little trouble getting back up the driveway though. :) Well, goodnight to all! And you East Texans, be safe as well. Some of this is coming your way supposedly.
