Bored...

Yesterday, I was so BORED. My days have been creeping by, because we have something important going on tomorrow, and I've been incredibly anxious. I couldn't find much of anything to do. I decided to clean out the garage in the morning and take all of the garage sale leftovers to Goodwill. (Yes, they were still sitting in my garage...I know I'm horrible.) But that took a total of 15 minutes. I loaded up my car and decided to take them later. In fact, I spent most of the day on the computer. Sunny, I plan on using the little Firefox widget you talked about the other day, but I have to remember to download Firefox first. :)

Today is "Way Back Wednesday" at the OKC Zoo, which means admission is $0.75. My neat neighbor across the street was kind enough to let me know about it, and I called her to see if she was available today. Of course, she wasn't. I considered braving the zoo by myself, but I am hesitant to do so since I went to Caldwell. If I would have gone alone then, I would have been in trouble. Even though I think I would be okay, I decided to wait a few weeks until Jonathan has another Wednesday off. As long as we go in August, we get to pay the cheap price. So, instead of spending the day in the heat (which is SIGNIFICANTLY cooler than the last few weeks,) I'm going to try to find something else to do. My mom reminded me this morning that I learned to knit in Shreveport. So, I think I'm going to pull out my scarf so I can get it done before winter this year.

Thanks for all of your neat suggestions for the scrapbooking paper. Jamie, I am DEFINITELY making pillows to match some of those patterns. I'm also going to use those as ideas for curtains. I think that as wallpapers, they would be too bold, but they would make beautiful accents. Thanks!! Dana, I am going to do the shadow boxes. I just have to think about what I want to put in them. Kate, I would buy more of the papers, but the store where I bought them was going out of business. I may check with the other scrapbooking store in Moore, as she may have sold the rest of her materials to the competition.

Well, I'm off to knit a scarf. I can feel Fall coming! It dropped 10 degrees already since yesterday!!!!! :) Almost time for pumkin pies, pumpkin bread, pumpkin seeds...a plethora of all things pumpkin and squashy!!! Yey!!
